The Planets - Spot (1981) REPOSTEADO
The Planets fueron una banda clásica de New Wave de Liverpool UK, liderada por el bajista y vocalista Steve Lindsey entre otros miembros que posteriormente formaron otras agrupaciones importantes del Post-Punk como Siouxie & The Banshees y The Slits.Solo grabaron 2 álbums de los cuales el 1er fué "Goon Hilly Down" en 1979 y éste muy buen disco llamado "Spot" que viene muy influenciado por el Reggae al estilo de The Police y un tremendo Ska "Follow The Leader", todo añadido con el característico sonido del New Wave y Power Pop de los 80's

Very nice! I never heard of them before but I really like it. Especially the song "Earth".
ResponderEliminarI never did thank you for that SKAmpler but I loved that. The Ventilator songs were great but there were a lot of other things I never heard before that were really good too.
